Hi there! 👋 I’m Jasmine (she/her), a recent graduate from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Cognitive Science.
I believe in using the design process as a medium to listen to, understand, and empathize with individual stories and create meaningful experiences that enhance our quality of life. I’m driven by the humans I encounter, the design of everyday things, and a desire to make others feel heard.
In my free time, I enjoy being crafty (DIY interior design projects, taking ceramics classes, you name it), playing badminton, and exploring new cafes. Fun fact: I run a small business where I sell things I make (art prints, tote bags, jewelry, stickers, and much more to come :)
a little about me
I was born in Tainan but spent most of my life in LA! As I grow older, I continue to learn more about my culture and really cherish my roots. My favorite thing to do when I’m back home is play mahjong with the family and visit our local night markets.
One of my goals in life is to learn as many languages as I can. My dream is to travel while doing it. So far, we have 3.5 down and many more to go!
I first started drawing around the age of 10, when my dad brought me to our local art class. There, my fascination with art transformed into a passion for creating. Since then, my widened world-view and ongoing exposure to different mediums have evolved that passion into an eagerness to design for impact.
